Meet your photographer, friend and guide
My name is Marco, and for over 14 years I’ve been documenting real stories through photography. I’m based in Playa del Carmen, though I frequently travel to document stories in different parts of the world. At the same time, I have a deep love for landscapes, and I dedicate much of my time to capturing their beauty.
I’m drawn to the simple things: a quiet sunset, the sound of the wind through the trees, the ocean breeze, mountains in the distance. Observing the world with intention has become part of how I live, and also the way I connect with every story I document.
I’ve been fortunate to travel across much of Mexico and to a few places abroad, accompanying couples who have trusted me to preserve some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.
Along the way, my work has been recognized in competitions that continue to inspire me to find beauty in the everyday: I was awarded 1st place in the Mexico Landscape Photography Contest by Kase Filters in 2024, became a semifinalist in the 7th International Photography Contest FFIEL in 2022, and won 1st place in the landscape category at the Baja California Drone Film Festival that same year.
I truly enjoy bringing these two worlds together, sharing beautiful places where people can connect with nature.
